Oh sweet!

pips 28 November, 2007 06:32

I was born in the 70´s. Great pictures. Happy WW.

I love it! I'd like to see some where I can get a better look at you. You're the one in the red shirt, right?

btw- I just love the Christmas music. Sometimes I leave your blog open and Hailey and I dance and sing along to the music. What a lovely thought that must be for you. Just imagine Hailey dancing and forget I said anything about me dancing.

@ Gill-
Thanks! The memories were sweet!

@ Pips-
70's were cool for me as a child, I was not really exposed to the "problems" of the world. At that point I didn't know the world had problems!

@ Melanie-
OK, I am giving you one chance to redeem yourself young lady! Click on both pictures featuring the kids so that you can get a closer look because it has obviously been toooooo long since you saw me!!
Hint look at Danayja and then look at the pictures again! HAHA!

@ Tegdirb92-
Thanks1 My cousin recently found and sent them to me! it was a lovely surprise!

What great photos! Ahhh - the 70s . . . my very first decade, and my parents brought me in to it with as much plaid as was humanly possible :-)

Shelia 28 November, 2007 15:14

Regina you know you're taking me back! I started doing the bump just looking at those photos, LOL! Happy WW!

Melanie 28 November, 2007 21:01

I clicked to enlarge the pictures and I just don't know which one is you. I give up!!

Regina 29 November, 2007 12:52

Ok Melanie, I'll give you the answer.
On the bottom picture (with 3 kids pictured) I am the one on the left(pink & green striped shirt). i thought the hand on my face with the thumb showing was a dead give away since I still do that same move! but you are right you can't really see my face (Ha, another give away, you know I hate being in pictures). so there you have it! In picture on the right, Red shirt is my cousin Angel(California), the one sucking her fingers is my cousin Lady(Virginia), the one with the dimples & green african shirt is my cousin Makeeba(South Carolina) and pink striped shirt is ME!

Those were interesting times. They were both the best of times and the worst of times.

Now these are the best of times!

Great pictures. We had some interesting style back then. I so remember the wide legged pants and the shirts with stripes. I had long straight hair that was parted in the middle. I was so happy when Dad finally let me cut it.
Love the picture.

I love old pics... Anyway I love the last pic where there's a kid laughing...To be so happy, and to be so innocent! Wow!
