I Am Pissed Right Now...

In my Internet travels I came across the story of a 7 year old girl who suffered 6 gunshot wounds trying to save her mother. When the police were called the first time there were no available units...WHAT??? But when the gas station attendant called then they had someone to send? What kind of nonsense is that?
I am totally pissed at the Detroit police department.
I am pissed at the mother for being in this relationship.
I am pissed that this fool shot a child and shot her 6 times.
I am pissed that this 4 time convicted felon is on the street.
I am totally pissed that this mother did not throw her body between this fool and her baby!
Read the story here.

But you know what really pisses me off...

This baby is going to lose her eye behind this foolishness. That's right, I said lose her eye. Now tell me you are not pissed off! Read the second part of this story here.

You sometimes wonder how people go to the point they are at. How things can get so messed up.
What a horrible world we live in.
One day it will be perfect again.

I agree with the other comments...unbelievable. Prayers for this little girl!! This makes me pissed too! I hate all the evil in the seems to be going downhill fast.

Unbelievable! It's amazing to me that the poor little girl even survived. So, so sad.

Yes, this story pissed me off when I originally read it and I purposely did not check for updates because sometimes enough is enough. I'm tired of people hurting children, I'm tired of people getting themselves involved with low down evil people that they have no business around and I'm tired of people putting their loins in front of their parental rights. Whenever she found out this dude was a convicted felon she should have left him alone. When you have children you have to be smart. You can't run around like your decisions don't affect other people. She dated this fool for 6 months and now her baby has a lifetime of suffering to go through. God bless that child and that she turns out OK. Who knows what other types of nerve damage or complications she may face over this. And let that man rot slowly in hell for all the evil he's done in his life.... let me get out of this post 'cause I'm too pissed!!!

I think I am going to throw up.

I know, Regina...this little girl tried to save her mother's life and got shot! What and how and why!? I am right there with you sista, right there with you...

I agree with Ms Marvalus; what, how and why?
Only God knows.
Just don't let this make you bitter; just pray, and do what you know is right.
I hurt for the child and I hurt for the mother.
How many women feel powerless, at the expense of their children?
We older women have to help younger women understand that there are worse things in life than being alone.
It is safer to be alone and wait for God to give you the right mate. Otherwise you run the risk of incidents like this happening.

I couldn't help but think, isn't this backward? Isn't the mother supposed to protect the child? There's been an all out attack on children of late and usually by the hand of their parents and guardians.

It's a sad day we live in. Those who are supposed to protect, do harm.

Come Lord Jesus...
