Glad To Be Home & Thankful!

Well I'm Back!
If you have been on my blog in the past few days you know I was in Dallas, Texas for a week. This trip was part business and part pleasure. Me, my oldest daughter, my oldest son, and my sister were there from Tuesday night to Sunday and we had an awesome time.
Texas is huge and the traffic is crazy but coming from NYC we were OK and got used to it pretty quickly. The food was great, the weather was nice (except 1 day) and the people were very hospitable. We rode around, got lost, rode around some more, looked at some things, took care of some business for my mother and had an overall great time.
However...
We were so glad to get back home on Sunday. Not because of the weather, or the people, or the food, or the malls, or the atmosphere but simply because we missed our family. My mom stayed home, 3 of my 5 kids stayed home, my grand baby and my daughter in law stayed home and my sisters 5 kids stayed home. Needless to say we all used up quite a bit of cell phone minutes over the past few days! We were constantly calling, telling the family what we were doing, where (in the huge State of Texas) we were, what we were eating, what the weather was like, what we were seeing, etc. We gave blow by blow and play by play descriptions of our days!

Right now I am so thankful for the opportunity that allowed us to take this trip, I am Thankful that we accomplished what we set out to do, I am Thankful that God opened doors and made a way for us but mostly I am Thankful for my family! My kids, My daughter in law, My grand baby, My mom, EVERYBODY!! I love them all and missed them very, very much! I am glad we are back together...But I tell you what "If we had ALL been down in Texas I would have had no reason to come back to Upstate NY"!!!! I am definitely planning to go back...

Peace & Love

I'm glad you made it back safe! If I had a grandbaby as cute as that one, I'd be anxious to get home, too!

Glad you had a good time.
We love going through the grand state of Texas for our summer conference.
Our conference is way out in the boonies--rolling hills, crystal clear rivers...beautiful.
