Good Morning!!

Good Morning!
This morning I woke up and was thinking about sitting on my porch, drinking some lemonade and throwing some steaks and burgers on the grill, Yessssss, sireeeeee! That was my plan and then reality set in. I looked out my window and saw the nasty, slushy streets. The rain/sleet still falling. The gray overcast sky. Then I heard the plowers going through the streets in their feeble efforts to make it bearable. And I realized I really, really, dislike winter! The best thing about winter weather is snow at Christmas time and that is it.
I yearn, crave, long for some darn sunshine!
So right now what I am really thinking about is sunshine, outside time with my family, barbecues, and seeing my grandbaby play outside on the grass!

So what are you thinking about this morning?? Care to share??

Well, the morning has already past but I'm sure this afternoon will count.
I'm thinking about, sleep!
Regina, I haven't had a good nights sleep in a few weeks now. We are transitioning little Joshie out of our room in to his older brothers room, it has been a challenge. Gotta love the toddler stage!

Im with you. I love the sunshine and warm weather! I can't wait until summertime rolls on in.

I'm a few hours late (LOL) but here were my thoughts...how cold it was outside? (33d) Will the doctors discharge my mom from the hospital today? (no) I was looking forward to lounging on the sofa all day but that didn't happen. :)

Thinking about the upcoming visit by my long lost father and how it will turn out. He's flying out here next month.

mmmm..steaks on the grill sound good. The weather here is mild enough for that....I think I know what I'm having for dinner.

MsMarvalus 02 February, 2008 19:08

Although it's evening...I woke up this morning with coffee on the brain...a Venti Mocha from Starbucks...I didn't go because I'm only allowed 2 a week and I'd rather save them for workdays...

I also had vacuuming on the brain (?), so I made me some coffee and vacuumed my living and dining room...and was happy...

I have those very same thoughts - EVERY morning! haha. We are currently having INSANELY cold weather, and of course we have tons of snow, etc....so I'm looking forward to summer MORE AND MORE every day! Too bad it's still a few months away...sigh. Oh well. :)

Pam 02 February, 2008 20:10

I too dislike the winter...I was thinking about Spring and Summer today too! Great minds think alike ;)

Kellan 02 February, 2008 20:20

Hi Reginia - it's me Kellan - sending you some Texas sunshine!!! You would not believe how beautiful it was here today and when I went outside I curse it for being so darned hot in the middle of January. Isn't it funny how we wish sometimes for those things we can not have. I still hope you had a good day. See you soon. Kellan

If I remember correctly you also hate hot weather. So, I assume you're just hoping for spring time weather.

Right now I'm thinking about how I should be working on dinner instead of blogging. This morning when I woke up I was thinking that I must be getting old because it sure did hurt to get up out of bed.

livin with me 03 February, 2008 15:53

Ooops- forget to mention that I've tagged you ;)

SheCodes 04 February, 2008 19:44

Hi Regina...

I am loving this blog! It's warm and fuzzy. BTW, my parents had a television show called "Living by the Word", so you brought back memories.

Okay, when I woke up this morning, I was thinking about whether I should go out and visit my brother, or if I should stay home and clean my apartment... I really let things slip.

I did half and half... I cleaned my apartment, and then went out to play.

SheCodes 04 February, 2008 19:45

Whoops, I meant that I cleaned my KITCHEN, and then went out to play.

The rest of the apt still needs help :-(

Even in the Southwest, it's too cold now. However, I'm looking forward to the 70's Friday! :)

Makes me feel good that we have Mr Sun shining so bright in the sky today.

Pastor Lisa 11 February, 2008 03:55

I'm so glad God ordained me to be born in So. Ca and then move to Houston. I don't like extreme cold weather.

If it were dependent of me to preach the gospel in the north where it's cold and it snows...the gospel would go as far as my front door! LOL! Kidding of course for those not familiar with my sense of humor but I am not a fan of the snow!
