Them Jackson boys sure are (were?) talented!

Just watching them makes me want to dance!

The True Urban Queen aka Sharon 27 June, 2008 08:40

I think Frankie And Gary Coleman lookalike. Not that that has anything to do with anything.

The Jackson 5 were the best.
And when it comes to kid groups I am sure they are going to be on many people's list.

Have a great weekend.

I just knew someone would pick Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers! He has such a unique sound. I miss doo-wop. I wonder when that sound will come back. I thought about them after I made my choice. I loved Larenz's portrayal on a slightly unrelated note.

I think Frankie will make anybody get up and dance. He's got the same energy as (Little) Stevie Wonder.

And the Jacksons well, what can you say, they have (uh had) all the talent in the world at their fingertips.

I remember watching the film "why do fools fall in love". That Frankie Lymon was something else. Great talent and wonderful music.

The Jacksons are holdin' it down today. Great picks as always Regina. Have a lovely weekend.

Hey Regina! Great picks this week. Almost posted Frankie and figured that the Jackson Five would be a staple this week. So, I opted for 2other kid groups. Drop by when you get a chance for a real surprise!

Danielle 27 June, 2008 12:40

Baby, Baby wasn't that a treat.

Have a blessed weekend.

nice 1... liked the jackson with msmarvalus

MrsGrapevine 27 June, 2008 15:24

You love Frankie Lymon don't you. Every time I see him I just want to smile, he just seems so little even for a teen. I wonder how tall he was in real life. Then I think of the movie with Larenz Tate in it.

the frankie lymon video reminds me of the movie 'why do fools fall in love'. that brotha really had it bad, but he could sing his butt off!

Happy OSF! We had the same idea with the Jackson 5 video! However, it has been awhile since I've seen Frankie Lymon. I thought that the movie of his life was good...

Thank you for visiting my Ol' School Jackson 5 response to the 'Kid's Group' theme. I invite your blog readers to check it out if they have time or inclinaton.

peace, Villager

I enjoyed Baby Baby. Funny, I was trying to find a group from that area for the meme and came up empty. One other blogger found a girl kid group. Good choice on the Jackson 5.

Better late than never, Happy OSF. Good choices. Tell me why (lol) Frankie Lymon didn't pop into my mind while searching for videos this week.
