Sunday Inspirations: No Greater Love - Fred Hammond

I love music and I don’t do anything without music playing! I have a MP3 player and I bought some computer speakers for it so I have music non stop!

So of course at night I put the mp3 and the speakers right on the bed with me. So anyway, last night after I finished praying I rolled over hit the on button. At night when I’m going to sleep I always put on my gospel playlist, you should always be cognizant of what is marinating in your brain and your spirit while you sleep!

I was thinking of where I am in life and the things that God has brought me through. I heard some Joanne Rosario and some Winans, but as I drifted off Fred Hammond was singing “No Greater Love” off his Free To Worship album. And I got to thinking … Sometimes we are so unappreciative of God’s sacrifice for us, and so undeserving. We are so loved that He sent Jesus to die for us. And even when we don't deserve it, He Loves Us! There really is no greater love than that!

So I slept, no actually I rested in His word and when I woke up this morning guess what was playing…

You guessed it, “No Greater Love”. A coincidence? No, I don’t believe in coincidences! What are the odds of me hearing a song before I go to sleep and waking on the very same song on a playlist consisting of 62 songs which played from 12 midnight to 5:30am? You answer that question…

In the song there is a line that says,

“Your Mercy… So Tender… erasing my transgression”

And another line that says,

“Your love for me is forever; to me there is none greater".

These are words to live by! No matter what, His Love Is Forever!

Girl I love your heart in this post..it is so tender toward our God.
And you know what? His heart is tender toward you. When I awake with a song on my mind I consider it the Holy Spirit sing over me.
I don't believe in coincidences either.
Pretty cool to be serenaded by the most High!

Sometimes, after sitting and listening to certain Fred Hammonds songs, it's hard for me to believe that I'd never heard of this gentleman until my female friend recommended him less than a month ago.

Yep, rap music is to blame. LOL.

Fred Hammond is truly a minister of divine messages through song.

Thanks for sharing your tender heart and His love for us.

I so enjoy Fred Hammond. My favorite CD is still Spirit of David, the first CD of his I was introduced to by a friend of mine in college!
