OJ Simpson Guilty...Surprise, Surprise

Well, "The Juice" OJ has run dry! OJ Simpson (Orenthal James Simpson) was just found guilty of all 12 felony counts in his trial. I am not at all surprised. You know what goes around comes back around.
It has been 13 years (to the day!) since he was acquitted of Murdering his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. In this present day trial the jury deliberated for 13 hours and then found him guilty. I don't believe in luck, good or bad, but I must say number 13 is NOT OJ's friend!

With OJ being 61 years old and with the severity of the 12 felony counts which include kidnapping, burglary, robbery with the use of a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, and more it is likely that he will spend the rest of his life in jail.
Wow, from Hero to Zero...
Orenthal James Simpson was a Heisman Trophy winner, a #1 NFL draft pick, a two time All American from USC (University of Southern California) a NFL Player of the year 3 times and a Pro Football Hall of Famer and now OJ - The Juice Simpson is on his way to spending what could possibly be the rest of his life in prison.
I hope he can still run yards...

hope he can run yards...good one! This is what happens when you forget who you are and where you come from!

LOL!! I see I'm not the only one up at wee hours crusin the net! Everyone knows that Johnny Cochran got him a "Get Out Of Jail Free" card last time but they are not having that mess this time! I mean how cocky can you be to run up in a hotel with WEAPONS and kidnap, assault and rob people and think you'll get away with it!

R.L.Scovens 04 October, 2008 07:36

He deserves it for killing those 2 people....

clnmike 04 October, 2008 09:21

PaulsHealthBlog.com 04 October, 2008 11:59

I had no idea he could spend the rest of his life in prison.

He had the world by the tail, didn't he?

shae-shae 04 October, 2008 13:20

I got up and posted the same thing. I'm so disgusted with him. He's just been begging to go to jail, oh well. He's got his wish.

Kin'shar 04 October, 2008 20:31

awww, OJ, what happened to our famous player....well I know he wish Johnnie was still here.

HEALTH NUT WANNABEE MOM 04 October, 2008 21:58

Very true and I am a big believer in what goes around come around. I myself have been bit in the butt for things I am not so proud of and deserved it too. On the other hand I have had many a wonderful thing come back on me too so truly you get what you give in the end.

I like so many others felt O.J. got away with murder back in 1994. Should that have been used against him in this trial? No. Can you fault the jurors for not being able to be unbiased? No...who in America could be unbiased regarding O.J.?

Were mistakes that were made during this trial going to make an appeal court possible overturn this verdict? Yes.

When you rush to judge for reasons that are suspect...you leave yourself open for problems.Just like the one's the prosecution faced back in 95. I don't think the verdict will stand.

But...saying all that to simply say this...O.J. needs to get somewhere and sit is butt down!

Blog Queen 04 October, 2008 22:10

typo ...sit *his butt down!

Vanessa 05 October, 2008 12:40

GMTA! O.J. is my post for tomorrow. I think his guilt from Nicole's murder kept him in trouble.

I didn't keep up with this last trial but I do remember the media reporting on those folks he was hanging with. ot good, not good at all.

It's karma, baby!

MsMarvalus 05 October, 2008 13:08

I agree with Vanessa...karma will ALWAYS come back at you.

on his anniversary of 1995 acquital lol

Malcolm 05 October, 2008 19:43

O.J. should have been content to play golf all day and live off his NFL pension. Once he got hemmed up this last time, there was no way in the world a jury would have acquitted him.

Marcus LANGFORD 06 October, 2008 09:44

hey regina :-)

oj should've known his a** was gonna be grass for what he did. man...how stupid can one man be!? if you were acquitted of a murder (that you most likely committed), then why not just fade off into the sunset and stay outta trouble. it was like oj liked pushin' his boundaries. karma is a "you know what" because in essence he got what he deserved for his past acts of violence.

If you're bad trouble to the point of evil, that's all you know.

The number 13 is obviously significant for him.

I remember well that day the jury acquitted him. What a disappointment in the system. However, I see that this time around "he got his."

Still, I know that even O.J. has a chance at redemption and to be restored. I pray that in those four prison walls he finds grace and mercy. I really do!

I actually thought he would walk on these set of trumped-up charges as well, especially after he and the alledged victim shooks hands in the hallway, during the trial.

He should have sat down.
