No Health Care, But I Can Afford Eyeglasses...

Since moving to Texas I am learning a lot about the Texas health care system, which is sub-par in my opinion. Since I am still job hunting I currently have no health insurance and that also means that my two children who are in college also have no health insurance. Anyone over 19 years old can only get coverage through a job. So my oldest daughter (the Chef-In-Training) and my youngest son (The Graduate) who are both in college do not have medical coverage.

Fortunately in my travels through cyberspace I came across this great website, which offers high quality prescription eyeglasses at a cheap price. The site offers trendy, fashionable frames; complete prescription eyeglasses (include Anti-reflective coating for free); Tinted sunglasses; Bifocal reading glasses and more! The site also offers free worldwide shipping (if you order more than 1 pair). This is awesome for me since the chef-in-training and the graduate both wear glasses! I don’t know about you but in today’s bad economy I need every break I can get and eyeglasses for less works for me!

What if you could buy quality prescription eyeglasses online with only $15? Will you ever buy from local stores again? The optical4less website is having an overstock sale! Eyeglasses for as low as $15! Have you tried to buy eyeglasses lately? Have you seen the prices? Well, I have and the prices are ridiculous. Eyeglass companies do not seem to care that we are in a recession.

Well since I want the graduate to be able to see so he can graduate from college and I want the chef-in-training to keep cranking out delicious creations, I will be buying them some eyeglasses from

By the way just in case you were wondering YES, the Chef-In-Training did make her stuffed pork tenderloin for Thanksgiving! It was stuffed with fresh basil leaves, ham and mozzarella cheese. It was a beautiful thing, and was delicious!

Next year I would like to trade some of your stuffed prok tenderloin for my Sweet Potato Souffle' and a pair of glasses.

that sweet potato souffle' sounds good!! I don't know about the trade, I do not want to share the tenderloin!! I'm selfish that way!!

I'll have to pass on the stuffed pork-the pig is too much of a dangerous creature to partake of. Anyway, I do appreciate the plug on the eyeglass website. I'm due for some new glasses and I could very well be trying out the site for my purchase.

OMG Regina, let me tell you something, my eye doctor didn't want to write a prescription for me. She suggested I buy some glasses at WALMART!..

I was like WHAT? But she said that it would be cheaper and it wasn't any different then what the prescription ones we paying all that money for..

Well..that is actually what I am wearing as I type this.. My $15.99 glasses.

Isnt it a crime shame....people that have terminal illnesses cant even get assistance with health through the government unless they are pregnant. Do I want another dang gone this world to struggle with out insurance as well. What is wrong with these folks....OBAMA help us!!

Awesome! I'm in need of new glasses myself and have bookmarked the site. However, are these for the frames only? Do I need to get my eyes checked first and then get a prescription?

Ana shared a referral from her friend to Zenni Optical for high-quality eyeglasses for as little as $8.

I posted about both your hook ups today. ;) Thanks!
