Reciprocity ~Sunday Inspiration~

Reciprocity - 1: the quality or state of being reciprocal: mutual dependence, action, or influence
2
: a mutual exchange of privileges

(According to Merriam Webster Dictionary)

We are blessed to be here to see another year. There are many people who did not make it to see 2009. So now that we have another year what will we do with it? Will we continue to do what we did last year? Will we sit back and do nothing and just let life pass us by? What are YOU doing to get the best out of YOUR life?

Reciprocity... MUTUAL dependence, MUTUAL actions, MUTUAL influence.
Too often we have our hands extended, lifted, raised in order to catch or get a hand out or a blessing or an increase BUT what have WE GIVEN?? I am not just talking about money, I am talking about your actions, your love, your heart, your works, your business, etc. What have YOU GIVEN?
Reciprocity ... MUTUAL EXCHANGE of privileges. What are we exchanging for all that we have gained? Again I ask what have we GIVEN?

~Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed. Proverbs 16:3 (Amplified Bible)~ ~The Lord shall open to you His good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. Deuteronomy 28:12 (Amplified Bible)~ ~If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasantness and joy. Job 36:11 (Amplified Bible)~

So if you are following the above pattern you will see that this is a GIVE and TAKE. RECIPROCITY!! We do something and than God does something. If God says he will bless the works of your hands, I believe Him! But He can't bless what is not there. If you are doing or giving nothing than He has nothing to bless...

RECIPROCITY IN 2009!

I really believe this. I have to always remember to just do things without expecting in return too ;)

"What are YOU doing to get the best out of YOUR life?"

In 2009, I'm making an effort to study more and I'm embarking on a 40-day challenge.
