Happy 16th Birthday Diva!!!

Last week my baby, the Diva celebrated her 16th Birthday!!
Yaaayyyy, It was fabulous! Lasagna Rolls, garlic bread sticks and salad for dinner along with birthday cake for dessert.
The Diva was excited because I told her that she can wear some (very) light makeup when she gets 16. Matter of fact I bought her some eyeliner and mascara to wear. (Sidebar: She said she does not like wearing makeup because she thinks it takes away from her NATURAL BEAUTY!)! Yes! The 16 year old said this. I love her sense of self esteem! She got a few gifts and we had some laughs, ESPECIALLY when the candles on the cake would not go out! My smart oldest daughter thought it would be fun to have trick candles that do not go out! Yea, that was funny until everyone realized that if the candles are not going out then HOW DO WE GET THEM OFF THE DARN CAKE??? We thought the dumb cake was going to catch on fire! We finally got the stupid candles off (with the help of tongs) the cake! **Note to self - If the kids ever again offer to buy candles SAY NO!!**
Yes the heat from the demon candles are starting to melt the icing!
So we finally got to eat some cake...AFTER the Diva took her first bite (right out the side of the cake)!
I had a different sort of post in mind for the birthday girl but my scanner decided to no longer work, so I could not scan the baby pictures into the computer. OH well, it was still a FABULOUS day!

What great photos and looks like it was a great celebration! She is gorgeous, looks just like momma :)

What's not to love? She's a pain in the tush just like her mom.
She'll do for now Ha Ha. Remember 16 - 61.
