It has been a long journey, but she is finally at the end of this road! Yes, my oldest daughter is no longer a "Chef-in-Training" she is officially a Certified, Degreed, Licensed CHEF! Yes, the Chef walked across the stage and accepted her Associates degree this past Saturday! We are all very excited to have witnessed this milestone in her life. This is especially sweet because she thought she could not do it and especially exciting because she is going on for her Bachelors degree!
This is a HUGE accomplishment for a young lady who struggled so much with High school that she dropped out. She finally got her GED and decided to go to culinary college. But she did not want to go to ANY culinary school she wanted to go to the best so she researched and came up with Le Cordon Bleu (which happens to be THE premier culinary school)! Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts in Dallas has been an awesome experience for the Chef and for us as we watched her grow and learn and enjoy what she was doing!
