One Year Down, How Many More To Go?

Good Morning All!
Today is the first Anniversary of the Inauguration of President Barack Obama. Many people have many different opinions and some people have not voiced any opinion. No matter what opinion, party affiliate, delegate, caucus, gender or race you are PLEASE realize that this is "OUR AMERICA" and what ever will be done in it and for it will have to be done by a collective effort of us ALL! No one earthly man can change the world but collectively we can make a difference! Let us not for get what he has accomplished thus far, check it out HERE! One year down...
Excerpt from the Inaugural speech (taken from the NY Times)...

"That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age.

Homes have been lost, jobs shed, businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly, our schools fail too many, and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet.

These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics. Less measurable, but no less profound, is a sapping of confidence across our land; a nagging fear that America's decline is inevitable, that the next generation must lower its sights.

Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real, they are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this America: They will be met."

We must all do our part...

I totally agree with you. It's up to all of us as Americans to pull together for our country and we must support our President. Great post!

I too am in total agreeance: This is "Our America" and it will definitely take a collective effort to steer it in the right direction...I am looking forward to future posts Regina!

This man is so insightful, it's no wonder the enemy spends so much time trying to discredit him. People with no insight and unrealistic mindsets want him to prove that he is God by correcting the ills of this country that have been building up for over 200 years; in 1 year. News flash - he is not God. He may be God's agent, but he is not God. He is to lead this country, but we must follow, without murmuring and complaining. We are to follow his lead in trying to turn this mess that WE created, around. He's trying to do his part, God has done His part (He sent Jesus). It is now up to us to do our part.
