Maybe it's just me but I think the safety of our rights and our lives is a little more honorable than some dude with a gun trying to steal something from me. One has sworn to protect the United States of America while the other is just protecting himself. I am not saying that Military men (women) are perfect saints or that some of them don't have issues. But come on REALLY??? WHO WOULD YOU TRUST WITH YOUR LIFE?This guy

By the way, yes the Military Man seen in these pictures is my son in whom I am extremely proud. So when you sit behind a computer and decide to talk trash about military people YES I take it personally! My son has a child, a family and a life that he is away from in order to help protect these United States! He is not out on some corner selling drugs or robbing banks and houses or randomly shooting innocent people. So, NO! MILITARY PERSONNEL IS NOT THE SAME AS THUGS AND CRIMINALS WITH LEGAL GUNS!
Yea, I take this a little personal. Do not mess with the mother of a Military Man!!

What nonsense....sounds like the person who said that needs to have their head checked. Or maybe they could just go live for awhile in an area where the people are not protected by the military..but instead ruled by thugs.
I think they might just change their minds.
The other thing...I think what our military does involves sacrifice...a thugs actions? Selfishness.
I have a sweet friend who's husband will be leaving in a month for Iraq...he will be gone for over a year. He will miss the first steps of his son...and miss holding his three year old girl.
That is sacrifice. And I don't take for granted what he is doing or what your son is doing.

Hey Regina! Thanks for stopping by my blog. As I said, that was my Very first ppp, so I really didn't know what I was doing. I kinda wonder if it was too long. I tend to ramble as you see. I too am appauled at what you found on the Internet. I think some people don't really know what they're talking about they just like to see they're opinion in print. I bet they would change their tune in they got "drafted" into the military like my generation did. I'm proud that we have a generation that enlist on their own. I was also proud of the draftees, because they all give it their all, and the bottom line is that "where would WE be without them. (Communism)? You go girl! You rule!
