Have you ever been in a place and you just KNOW that it is time
to move on? Every been in a place and in
the back of your mind you KNOW it is time to move on but because of duty,
obligation, rebellion, depression, oppression, stubbornness, or connections you
just stay and try to fight it out. It
feels like what I think the Israelites may have experienced when wandering in the desert
for forty years. It is like being told what you can and should have and seeing
it in the horizon but never getting close enough to experience it for yourself.
I am just guessing! But I think people stay in Relationships, stay in Jobs, stay in Situations, much longer than they should. *(Uh, NO, I am NOT telling you to get a divorce! Other types of relationships are toxic!)*
We are sometimes trapped and held captive by shackles and
chains that are not so much physical, but are mental and /or spiritual in
nature. HOWEVER, this type of bondage
can be very real and sometimes more dangerous than actual, physical bondage. It is hard knowing the abilities that you
have, what you can do, and what you can contribute but to have no outlet for
it. To have no place where you fit in and can be the YOU that you KNOW you can
be.
Some people succumb to depression for issues like this. This is a very destructive place to find
yourself in. Do what you need to do in
order to get out ALIVE! If it means
cutting ties, then do it. If it means changing your scenery, changing your job,
or even moving to a new place DO IT! Your life could depend on it!
I heard a song by Tasha Cobbs in church on Sunday called “Break Every Chain”.
It was so simple but yet so powerful that I
almost could not breathe. It struck a
chord deep in me and all I could say was wow…
This very same day the preacher (Pastor Chris Hill) spoke about being in the right place at
the right time. WOW. Have you ever been somewhere but it was the
wrong time, and you think to yourself, “Man, I missed it” or “Man, I am too early”. Have you ever been somewhere and you just
KNEW it was the wrong place and you think to yourself, “Man I got to get out of
here!” However, NOTHING compares to
being IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME!
Cheers to you Friend and I hope and pray that you find YOUR
right place and right time!

Regina

This is so powerful and so true. The kicker is, that people don't get it until they are willing to allow God to reveal it to them. That is the first step in being led by Him into your destiny.
Mema,
Very true. And Sometimes it takes God CLOSING or SHUTTING DOWN all other available options to force you into the direction He wants you to go in!
