Marking Time was a totally enthralling read! This book was hard to put down! This book was the perfect blend of Mystery, Love Story, Suspense, and Thriller! I really enjoyed the growth of the main character as well as watching as she worked out the complexities of her life and relationships. The book was exciting, sad, funny, and had some surprisingly real tear jerker moments.The tale hinges on Love, Betrayal, Power Struggles, and Decisions. But ultimately the tale is about someone finding out how strong they can be when faced with self preservation versus love and destiny.
The plot was interesting and left you wanting to read more. The characters were believable, complex, and strangely endearing all at the same time. This book is a great testament to how people come in and out of your life but leave bits of themselves. Life is about relationships, which this book explores and exploits! Awesome book! Kudos to the author!Even though this book is categorized as a YA book (Young Adult) I totally enjoyed it! You can purchase the book HERE.
