Back To School...The MBA Edition!

So.... If you are my friend on Facebook you probably already know that I am back in school, in the Masters program.  You may already know that in July 2012 I received my Bachelor degree. I have an Associate and a Bachelors of Human Services Management. I also vowed to be done with school! And in my mind I actually was.  It is funny how God moves! Since my mind was already made up I WAS NOT GOING TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL!!! School and I do not get along well. I blogged about school HERE and HERE.
But whether I want to or not God has closed every other door in my path so at this point I do not see any other course of action!  It is hard to be obedient sometimes because I was so convinced that I was done with school that I was not even listening to anything regarding it! So I guess God had to do things in a way that I would understand.  So here I am after almost a year off and I am back in school.  In 18 months I will be walking a stage to accept my Master's of Business Administration.
So please, just keep me in prayer as I walk out these next 18 months toward this goal!
Blessings!
Regina

1 People Saying Something!

mema

Hearing God is actually easy, because we hear all kinds of things. Discerning that what we are hearing is Him, and then obeying; now that is difficult.
I'm glad you heard, discerned and OBEYED.
People often say "I pray and obey". That's a lie. lol we pray and want to hear what we want to hear. To obey is to trust with childlike abandon, and just do what He says. Not doing is not necessarily a desire to disobey, but more a claim that He didn't say what I wanted to hear. I'm glad you decided to obey, even without understanding, but just trusting. Great success is to come, bringing glory and honor to Him!
