I was pleasantly surprised as I read this book. This was the first book I read by Erin Healy and I really enjoyed it.
The story is one of selfishness, selflessness, pride, ego, money, murder, forgiveness, and faith! WHEW, all the makings of an extraordinary story! For the most part the character development was good. There were a couple of characters who we could have gotten a little more back story on. However, the major character Vance Nolan was a very complicated, intriguing, and interesting character.
This supernatural tale of sabotage, deceit, and redemption showcases the ways that God can change, heal, and love you if we just let Him.
Nolan is the tortured, wavering, soul.
Zeke is the unseeing, trusted, friend & guide with great vision
Tony is the corrupt, scheming, Businessman, and
Danielle is the soft, hard, damaged, one.
When you add these characters together with bombs, murder, rising tides, torrential rains, mysterious visitors, and silver fish you get a story that is entertaining, enlightening, and frightening all at the same time!
The power of God's redeeming love is a WONDER!
This was an awesome read!
