Aveeno Positively Radiant Tone Corrector - Review

A couple of weeks ago I received a product to test. And in all fairness it has taken me this long to do the review because I had to give the product time to work OR not work! so that I could give my true assessment of the product.

So the legal stuff...
**I received Aveeno Positively Radiant Targeted Tone Corrector complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.  There was no monetary compensation and This review is my thoughts on the product.**

So I received this product a couple of weeks ago and have used it according to the instructions. The instructions are apply to dark spots or uneven tone areas in the AM and PM before your moisturizer. According to the packaging, the products' purpose is to help fade the look of dark spots and uneven tone. so for about 2 weeks twice a day I put this on before I moisturized. so here are my thoughts on #RadiantWithAVEENO

So my opinions... The Good Stuff!
This product smells absolutely heavenly. The scent is very light and slightly botanical. It reminds you of happy memories that you can just almost remember but then they flutter away! The product contains soy complex as an active ingredient (for those who are into that sort of thing!) and it also contains Vitamin A. It is also SPF 30 for those sunny days!
The product was very light on my face. It was not thick or heavy. Actually the product is just shy of being runny. I have very weird skin sometimes and products do not often work well on my face, but the product did not make me itch or break out or have any adverse affects on my skin. My skin feels very soft after use, not dry or sticky.

But... The Not so Good Stuff!
I really wanted to love this product but sadly I could not. I just simply did not deliver on what it was supposed to do. After 2 weeks of using this product I have seen absolutely NO CHANGE to the tone of my skin. The darker spots are still dark, the uneven tone is still uneven, there has been no change. Well.. I can not say no change because my skin feels super soft LOL! But as a tone corrector this product FAILS! Sorry Aveeno, but this product did not deliver!
So on a scale of 1-10 I have to rate this product a 5 (the 5 is only because of fragrance and feel!).
You can buy this product at Target, Walmart, and other retailers.

BUT IT REALLY SMELLS GOOD!!!!

Blessings,
Regina

Thanks for the review.
Hopefully Aveeno will make some adjustments, but not loose the fragrance and feel of the product.

L'oreal has a great product that works for tone correcting (Youth Code™ Dark Spot Correcting & Illuminating Serum Corrector). I've not noticed this before.
